This is a passive two-terminal electrical component that implements electrical resistance on a circuit. They are used in heating and lighting applications. All are color coded so it makes it easier to be red. The color coding indicates what this is cable of doing. The bigger that have the tolerance value of resistance and the rating of wattage printed on the side. Smaller resistors show what they cable of doing by the color.
