These low-cost, high-voltage sources operate from a 12 volt battery for field use or a wall adapter converter for normal 115 vac use (the appropriate adapters are listed with each unit, if you require a power supply). Virtually indestructible circuitry is open and short circuit protected and will withstand reasonable amounts of EMP. Output is end point grounded and is at a high frequency of 25 to 35 khz. This higher frequency allows easy conversion to high voltage DC sources using voltage multiplier stacks. The direct high frequency output can be used to power plasma and gas discharge display tubes. All models include appropriate input and output leads for easy terminations.

Full metal enclosure 2-3/8 x 1-1/2 x 1-1/8″ in size with 3-3/16″ mounting centers, 7″ input leads and 18″ output leads. This is an excellent hobby unit as it is virtually indestructible and can be used with a voltage multiplier to generate up to 20kV at 1ma with our 4-stage multiplier (CH20), or 30kV at 0.5 ma with our 8-stage multiplier (CH30) at a low safe current. It is an excellent driver for neon displays of up to eight feet, and this unit is also used as the driver for our HV250 high-voltage DC power supply which produces 25,000 DC volts.
4Kv open circuit at 15 ma short circuit, requiring 12 vdc at 1 amp. Open frame. 4-1/4″ x 1″ x 1-3/8″. Easily generates 20 kv at 1 ma with our five stage multiplier.
7kv open circuit at 10 ma short circuit requiring 12-14 vdc at 1000 ma. Open frame with potted transformer 5 x 1″. Easily generates 30 kv at 0.5 ma with our five stage multiplier.
