How to Handle High Voltage Ceramic Capacitor Reliable Test?


Reliability testing of high voltage ceramic capacitor, also called aging test, life test, including many aspects of the test content:


1, The voltage test, including the rated working voltage of 24 hours work test; also includes the breakdown voltage, that is, the destructive test, the capacitor before the breakdown voltage is the breakdown voltage.
2, Series resistance test, insulation resistance test;
3, Tensile test, that is, wire and chip welding of the firm;
4, The positive and negative temperature change rate test, that is, the change rate of the capacity of the -40 degree to +60 degree;
5, The aging test, the capacitor in the simulation of the working environment of the operation of 30~60 days, testing the changes of its various parameters;
6, The life test, that is, on the basis of the aging test, then the high frequency impulse current charging and discharging test, the charge and discharge times, the charge and discharge times is the charge discharge life, note that this life is drawn after the aging of a long time.
7, PD test, that is, partial discharge test;


Of course, in these tests, we can get all kinds of parameters, such as the rated voltage, breakdown voltage, over current, working frequency, capacity change rate, insulation resistance, etc.. Each capacitor in R & D and production of ingredients again, must be re tested, to accurately determine whether the product is qualified.
